Frequently Asked Questions
When will I receive my certification after taking the class?
The AHA has switched to an all electronic certification tool called Ecards. All Ecards are issued at the end of every class completed to satisfaction. Ecards can and should be claimed before leaving class to ensure receipt and accuracy.
How Can I Re-access my Ecard?
Navigate to the AHA’s eCard website: https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards and follow the prompts.
You do not need to provide the eCard code.
The email address must be the same one you provided when you were issued the eCard during your AHA class.
You must use the EXACT NAME that was provided during class when your eCard was assigned.
What if my information is wrong on my Ecard?
It is imperative that you provide your accurate name, exactly as you would like it shown on your Ecard, and email address when signing up for a class. This information will also be verified with you at confirmation, the start of class and before Ecards are issued. Once you have claimed your Ecard, please review it for accuracy and if there is incorrect information on it please immediately notify your instructor and we will be glad to make the corrections and reissue a card.
How long is my certification valid for?
AHA certifications are valid for 2 years unless otherwise specified.
Does TR offer private classes?
